About Onyx Mind Body
Click here for a PDF version of our Pilates Reformer Schedule.Onyx Mind Body offers a unique and individualized fitness experience, based on the Pilates method of body conditioning. Pilates is the original “mind/body” exercise method pioneered by Joseph Pilates more than 70 years ago. It emphasizes core strength — the deep abdominal and spinal muscles that are the body’s “powerhouse.” And it yields amazing results — like improved posture and longer, leaner muscles.
Whether you attend Pilates Mat classes or Reformer training, here are ten great reasons to get started:
Onyx has five Allegro Reformers and many of our clients combine yoga with once or twice weekly Reformer workouts for a complete body workout. Others consider Pilates Reformer classes their sole workout of choice.
Our instructors are all highly trained and experienced in Mat and Reformer Pilates. We have on staff a Pink Ribbon Certified instructor experienced in training those clients coming to us needing rehabilitation after cancer treatment. All instructors teach various group classes during the week and are also available for Private and Semi Private Mat and Reformer training.
Our new expanded fall schedule offers more than 25 Reformer and Mat classes each week! We’ve made it easy to book yourself in and out of class times based upon your schedule, no commitment to a certain day or time!
